About “Chain of Custody Certification”

FSC^® Chain of custody, CoC – is the path that forest products (or materials that are reused, from the moment the material is processed) to where these products are sold with FSC^® application and/or its production is completed and it receives the FSC^®. CoC covers every stage of supply, processing, trade and distribution, where the transition to such a stage of the supply chain involves a change of ownership products

Any change of ownership in the supply chain of FSC-certified products requires the establishment of effective supply chain management systems at the level of the relevant organization, as well as their verification by independent FSC-accredited certification bodies, if this organization wishes to make FSC ^® statement about your products.

FSC certification of such management systems is designed to provide reliable assurance that products sold with FSC^® claim, comes from forests with an appropriate level of management, controlled sources, processed materials or a mixture of the above types of raw materials. Therefore, FSC CoC certification promotes transparency in the movement of goods made from such materials in the supply chain.
